ABERDEEN ANGUS AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE COMPETITION
Congratulations to all the T.Y. students who won the Aberdeen Angus Producers’ Group competition and were awarded 5 calves. They will now go forward to the next stage of the competition and represent the School at the ‘National Ploughing Championships’.
Well done to Tara Frehill B4, Emily Browne, Lauren and Megan Ffrench and Eithne Murray L4 and to Anna Boyle, Rebecca Dunne Perkins, Mallaidh Hyndman and Shauna Jager P4.

A Night with Nevin Maguire in aid of Bumbleance Childrens’ Charity
Well done to everyone involved in the very successful ‘Neven Maguire night’ held in the school on Wednesday, 25th March. to raise funds for ‘Bumbleance’ Children’s Ambulance Service. BUMBLEance helps sick children from rural and urban areas in Ireland, who have long term illness and/or a serious disability. It provides a unique child-centred professional ambulance transport service, catering for their every need, en route to and from the principal centres of care. Special thanks to Ms Kinsella for the organisation and to Neven himself.
The Coiste Gaeilge was presented with the ‘Gaelbhratach’ in McKee Barracks, by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny. The group featured in TG4 News. The flag was presented to schools involved in the promotion of Gaeilge. The Coiste took part in a variety of activities during ‘Seachtain na Gaeilge’ including, quizzes, sports and bingo, all through Irish. The highlight of their activities was a giant céilí involving the whole school.
