We all hit speed bumps from time to time when things feel thrown off course and the struggle seems greater than usual. It’s then, more than ever, that we need to remind ourselves to go searching for the positive.
Start today by writing an entry in the Gratitude section of your journal (p18). If you’re grateful for the people around you, don’t forget to let them know every so often! We’re grateful for all the selfless work the front line staff are doing and we sent any Personal Protective Equipment we had in school to the local hospitals.
Ms Donlon, our chaplain, has put together some ideas to help us remember what’s important at a time like this…take a scroll through the attached pdf to give you some ideas of things we might feel grateful for, even though things are tough.
Also remember, the OLS community is going through this together. Reach out to a teacher or a friend or a classmate if you need a little help today. We’re grateful for the community connections we can draw on for support.
