Four of our Fabulous TY’s took part in the Bank of Ireland Money Smarts final earlier this month, coming 3rd. They were the top girls team throughout the country. On the back of this, Bank of Ireland in conjunction with RTE, came to OLS to interview the team. Gill Stedman from RTE was particularly interested in interviewing the girls around the importance of Financial Literacy education in secondary schools, values of programmes such as Money Smarts Programme and their experience of the Money Smarts Challenge, from a female point of view.
