It was a Merry week at OLS!
Staff and students were looking very festive on Thursday. Students modelled their best Christmas jumpers during lunchtime. They were met with loud cheers as they walked down the runway set up in the GPA. Well done!
From headbands, to bath bombs and sweets there was a great selection of items to purchase at the Transition Year and 2nd Year Enterprise Fair on Thursday. Perfect for last-minute Christmas shopping! Well done to everyone on the wonderful creations!
Well done to the 5th Year Irish classes who took part in an Irish singing competition in the lecture theatre yesterday!
A massive thank you to the entire OLS community, including the parent’s council, for organising the holiday raffle. Well done to all the winners.
The Christmas Quiz and House Celebration was a huge success. Well done to everyone involved and showing the community spirit.
We had a very successful Carol Ceremony Friday afternoon with performances from the choir, the first year music class, and staff. It was a joyous event with lots of singing and clapping! The theme of the ceremony this year was, “No matter how different a Who may appear, they will always be welcomed with holiday cheer.” A very well done to C5 for organising and to all the singers, musicians and staff who were involved in organising this tremendous occasion.
We would like to wish you all a wonderful, peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at OLS!
