On Tuesday, the Le Cheile Council created a display at the school entrance to support their comrades in their upcoming exams.
This morning, a first-year group were preparing to deliver an Examination Prayer Service.
Congratulations to Rebecca Cleary, 5th Year, who represented Leinster this week in cricket against the prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) from England, winning by 22 runs. Rebecca opened the bowling and picked up a wicket.
Congratulations to Sarah Kiernan C5 and her team mates on the Irish u 20 4 x 400m relay who after an excellent performance at the weekend have qualified for the European championships in Finland in August. We wish them the best of luck from all in OLS!
Do you know that Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology provides summer courses for portfolio preparation? To best prepare prospective students for portfolio submission, they host Summer Courses in the following areas:
- Art & Design Portfolio Preparation
- Film, Television & Photography Portfolio Preparation
- Animation Portfolio Preparation
- Drawing Skills workshop
These summer courses are 2 weeks of intensive learning. They begin in June, and they have spaces available! They would love to see students from across Dublin and Ireland who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate programme in the above areas.
