In the spirit of Zero Waste Wednesdays, The Fumbally in D8 is a cafe that also tries to zero down on waste. The Fumbally cares about being local, sustainable and organic in their food as a real and tangible way of engaging in the world. The Fumbally leaves out any leftover food for people to take and eat for free, and offers a barter system whereby people can collect herbs and flowers from their gardens in return for a free coffee/ hot drink. Our commitment to zero waste and taking care of the environment around us does not only exist inside this school, but also outside of it so it is important we keep this up.
