Thank you to everyone who showed their support and wore their jersey in aid of GOAL on Friday. Lots of students and teachers turned out on many different colours of jerseys of a large variety of sports; GAA, soccer, camogie, hockey, basketball and even ice-hockey! We raised 1,566 euro for GOAL. Thanks to everybody who took part in jersey day! GOAL is an Irish international humanitarian response agency founded over 40 years ago. They work in many countries around the world in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Ukraine in Europe. GOAL works with communities that are dealing with extreme poverty and crisis. So as you can see it’s a very worthy charity to be supporting. This would not have been possible without you.
