A very exciting development with the dome! This week saw the arrival of modular builds including changing rooms, PE seminar room, offices and storage space.
A big well done to the Student Council for raising an incredible €286 in their bake sale! This money will go towards different school wide initiatives to benefit the whole school community. A massive thank you to everyone who baked or brought something in. We couldn’t have done it without you and your delicious treats!
Well done to the 6th Years who completed their Leaving Certificate Art exams this week. The 5th Years have been busy doing Oral exams in French, German and Spanish. We have athletes competing in Tullamore, camogie semi-finals, football finals and 1st Year hockey this week. Good Luck to everybody!
It is National Active School Week and lots of classes are using the active school walkway.
The Active School Flag class will be hosting a Table Tennis Takeover for both staff and students to come. Table Tennis Takeover will be taking place this Friday in the GPA at lunch. There will be 7 table tennis tables set up for everyone to get involved and give it a go. The Active Flag Class can’t wait for evryone to get involved and come to the GPA to have some fun with friends!
A massive congratulations to our Minor Camogie team who are now in the final of the Dublin A Championship. In a very closely fought game, the girls determination proved too much for a very good Dominican college team and won by a score line of 5-10 to 3-5. Well done to the whole panel, an amazing achievement!
