On Friday, 19 September 2025, all the OLS 6th year students headed to the RDS to attend the Higher Options & World Skills Conferences. Higher Options provides a unique opportunity for students to speak with representatives from third-level institutions from Ireland, the UK, Europe and further afield. It is Ireland’s largest education expo where students gather information about their third-level options and attend career talks on a wide range of topics The World’s Skills conference focuses on highlighting Skills, Apprenticeships, and Further and Higher Education opportunities in Ireland. It was an opportunity for the students to connect directly with colleges and learn about training/apprenticeship opportunities. Plus, get some of their career questions answered. The students left with lots of useful information that will help them with their future choices.
Congratulations to Heather O’Reilly and Sophie Semonova, 6th Year, who competed at a national First Aid competition at the weekend, representing the Order of Malta. To compete at such a high level is a superb achievement, well done girls!
In hockey news, best of luck to the Senior 4s as they take on Mt Sackville away, and to the Senior 1s and the Minor 2s in their home games against St Columba’s. Wishing the three teams a great match!
Please see the attached flyer for anyone interested in joining the Terenure College Community Choir.
