Last Friday, the LCA Spanish class had a fantastic time soaking up the culture and enjoying some delicious Spanish food on a tapas outing. From patatas bravas and croquetas to paella, albóndigas and tortillas de patatas, it was a lovely opportunity to experience authentic Spanish cuisine together.
M5 hosted a bake sale on Monday in support of the Dónal Walsh Foundation.
A group of our student leaders completed Leadership Training yesterday with former student and business leader, Orna Mulhern, and business leader, Ailish O’Brien. Students heard about Orna and Ailish’s leadership journeys and took part in a valuable exercise, reflecting on how they can be stronger leaders in roles such as Student Council, Class Captain, Amber Flag, Coiste, Le Chéile, Lighthouse, Green Schools and TY Rep. A huge thank you to our student leaders for their engagement and enthusiasm, and to Orna and Ailish for sharing their time, experience and insights so generously.
