Congratulations to the Active School Flag classes of the past three years who have contributed to our achievement of the Active School Flag. This is a prestigious award which only the schools involved in the pilot programme nationally have achieved. Well done to Ms Doran who has championed this initiative from day one.

Katie and Diane Cassidy, and Eimear O’Shea came 1st in the Dublin Fleadh this Sunday as part of the Comhaltas Craobh Naithi Grupa Cheoil (15-18). This is a huge achievement for the girls to be part of, and the group will now represent Dublin in the Leinster Fleadh in Portlaoise at the end of June.

Coiste attended the Gaelbhratach Awards Ceremony in Limerick yesterday where they received the Irish flag for all of their efforts in promoting the Irish language throughout the school!

Well done to all contestants in this year’s Big TY Bake off. A big congratulations to Neisha Fairbrother who placed first and Elle O Kennedy Carr who was runner up.

Congratulations to the TY students who received their Junior Cycle Portfolio of Achievement today.

Emily Fullarton completed the School and College Ability Test (SCAT) in January and has qualified to participate in the CTYI Summer Programme for secondary school students. We are very proud of Emily’s achievement. Emily attended the 2026 Centre of Talent Youth Ireland (CTYI) awards, which took place at DCU’s St Patrick’s Campus on Saturday.

A huge congratulations to the Kenya team, who raised an impressive €1,245 during a successful bag-packing day in Dunnes. The girls are completing their final fundraising activities this week, and in just two weeks they will travel to Kenya to make a meaningful difference.

The tennis team unfortunately lost 2-1 to Dalkey in their Leinster Final but they had great effort with some tight games.

The first year basket ball team made it to the quarter finals in University Limerick last weekend. Unfortunately lost to Colaiste Bríd. Well done girls!

The Irish Literature Festival starts this week in Merrion Square (15-24 May). Check out the great line-up! https://ilfdublin.com/whats-on/festival/
