On Wednesday, March 8th, the Coiste Gaeilge, Amber Flag group and Lighthouse mentors are combining forces to do some fundraising for Pieta House. They are organising a rince-thon (danceathon) and also a ciorcal cainte (talking circle) where students can converse with one another using their cupla focal.
They know that physical activity and interaction with others are extremely important in maintaining a positive mindset and are a real boost for our wellbeing. They are arranging this event to raise money for Pieta House, and to support the amazing work they do. Pieta House rely on 80% of their income to come from the public’s generosity to provide free counselling therapy and support to those in need.
We please ask that all students bring in €2 ( or more!) on Wednesday.
