Dear Parents,
Last year we made steady progress on improving our students’ awareness of sustainability and the need for a reduction in our carbon footprint as a school community.
Tomorrow, we will relaunch ‘Zero Waste Wednesday’, an important initiative which means that all waste students generate will need to be brought home, except for that which is compostable, a brown bin will be available in Lourdes Hall. Therefore, we ask that you plan, with your daughter, what food she intends to bring with her to school tomorrow and how she will carry any waste home with her. It may be helpful to bring a lunchbox in which to store any waste. Your daughter will be familiar with this system from primary school.
