The Minister for Education confirmed today that the school closure is to be extended until Sunday April 19th. This means we will continue our remote learning contingency plan, Stay Connected, for a little longer than originally announced. Our commitment is to keep our school community connected and to keep our students’ learning on track, albeit remotely. To date, the community drive to achieve these goals, by staff, students and their parents/guardians, is most commendable. As our remote learning journey has become a little longer than originally planned, we would also like to strongly emphasise to students and parents/guardians the crucial importance of maintaining a school routine and structure over the coming weeks. Student feedback has suggested very strongly that this helps students to stay focussed and stay on top of things. We ask our students now to trust their peers’ feedback and get the most out of their learning experiences over the coming weeks by establishing a steady routine, staying as close to school hours as possible. We will continue to keep you updated as further information becomes available to us. Many thanks.
