The Culture club hosted a bake sale in aid of UNICEF recently. Culture Club members brought in baked goodies from home and by the end of the bake sale we were sold out! The bake sale was hosted in St. Joseph’s hall and there was an amazing turn out. It was fantastic to see the OLS community come together and help raise money for a very good cause. With the help of Ms. Filaih and Mr. O’Rourke the bake sale was a great success and raised €600 in total! All proceeds went to UNICEF to aid the Middle East.
Congratulations to Tara Gaffney L3, who was the lucky winner of this fantastic study skills hamper! All 3rd Years were entered into a raffle as part of their 10@10 Study Workshop last week. In this workshop, 3rd Year students received top tips to move their learning forward in their core subjects, as they prepare for their mock examinations.
A huge congratulations to Lola Shortt TY3 who represented the Irish National Karate Team in Venice last weekend. An incredible achievement. The OLS community are very proud of you.
Well done to the M5 class and Ms Collins on a wonderful Gifts to the Crib ceremony today. Thank you to everyone who donated gifts. The gifts will be passed on to the following charities over the coming days: Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Friends of the Elderly, Saoirse Women’s Refuge and Saint Vincent de Paul.
If you forgot your gift or were absent today, you can drop it off at the GPA on Thursday or Friday.
