Ms. Maguire’s 1st Year Art class learned some Special Effect Make-up techniques this week, just in time for Halloween. They used latex and paint to create cuts and scars.
Well done to our Senior Camogie team who played out another thriller against Dominican College. In a repeat of last year’s Junior Final, the game finished in a draw of 4-10 to 3-13.
A big congratulations to Aoibhe Tunney P3, Aoibhin McDonnel L3 and May Brennan B2. They were winners in the short story writing competition called “Summer Shorts: Library Daze” run by Ballyroan Library. The three students wrote a short story set in a library. Their stories will now be published in a collection with a forward written by Claire Hennessy.

Monday 4th November is the start of Stand Up Awareness Week.
The 5th Year Parent Teacher Meeting is on Tuesday 5th Nov. so school finishes at 3.15pm for all year groups.
There is a CAO information session for 6th Year students & parents on Tues 5th Nov. at 5.30pm – link will be sent on that morning via the app.
School is closed for students on Thursday 7th Nov. as staff have DES Senior Cycle Redevelopment Training.
