Well done to the L5’s, Ms Donlon, Ms Byrne, Ms Reilly, the choir and the musicians for a truly beautiful and meaningful Christmas Carol Ceremony today. The theme, ‘It’s not what’s under the Christmas tree but the love that surrounds it’, was a message that resounded throughout the reflections and chosen music for the ceremony. The 1st Year Music class gave us a wonderful performance and the L5’s finished up by leading the school in an upbeat festive medley before we were treated to the return of the much loved OLS Staff Carpark Karaoke followed by the staff performance! It was a lovely occasion to share as a school community and an opportunity to take some time out from the busyness of Christmas to think about what really matters – the love and joy that surround us.
