Next week is Reading week is OLS. There’s lots of activities going on from writing competitions, quizzes and a bake off, so keep an eye on the noticeboards and your google classroom and don’t forget to have a book in your bag for DEAR time!
This year the theme is You Are A Reader and we are focusing on strong female characters in literature. We are asking each house to decorate their house noticeboard identifying strong female characters in various series. The themes for each house are as follows:
B – The Hunger Games Series
C – Game of Thrones Series
L – Jacqueline Wilson Books
M – Roald Dahl Books
P – Harry Potter Series
The closing date for the noticeboard competition is Tuesday at 3:30pm. House Points will be rewarded to the best noticeboard after judging. The very best of luck to everyone, and happy reading!
