The Board of Management of Our Lady’s School is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Gráinne Byrne to the position of Principal from September 2025.
Gráinne started her teaching career in Our Lady’s School where she taught English and History from Junior Cycle to Leaving Certificate. In that time she was also proud to serve as a Year Head and an Acting Deputy Principal. Ms. Byrne spent 16 years in Our Lady’s before moving to Loreto Abbey Secondary School, Dalkey, where she was appointed Deputy Principal in recent years. She is looking forward to returning to Our Lady’s School as Principal and to welcoming students, staff and parents in the coming academic year.
